Recalled my memories in the dawn
Constructed stories in my mind
Confusing pictures made me yawn
No hidden treasures here to find
Much too frustrated and confused
Going in circles dawn to sunset
The books of wisdom were unused
In wasted years that I now regret
The world outside my cave is changing
I feel I’m running out of time
Yet I continue rearranging
A pile of words that never rhyme
The books of wisdom are still closed
The dirty tricks didn’t work well
The secrets are still unexposed
And I have nothing new to tell
