An eight-year-old girl in Saudi Arabia has made her own plea to Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak to step down.

Six Al Jazeera journalists were arrested in Cairo.┬áThe Al Jazeera correspondent there tweeted: “four soldiers entered room and took our camera. We are under military arrest.” Two of Al Jazeera’s producers are still in Cairo tweeting and filing audio reports. One of them writes: “Six members of AJE team detained, equipment confiscated. We are still out here with access.”

Al Jazeera correspondent tweets after being released by Egyptian security forces: “We’re okay, they held us for 3 hours, we’ve been released, took cameras, laptops and phones.”

According to Uk Channel 4 news, the damage in the National Museum was caused by police in order to discredit protesters. Unfortunately for the police they were caught in the act.

Connecticut National Guard Detachment 2, Company I, 185th Aviation Regiment of Groton has mobilized and will deploy to the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. The unit operates C-23C Sherpa aircraft and has deployed three times in the last seven years in support of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
